Students

Students vary in their levels of ability to speak English.  We have beginners that want to learn basic English survival skills and new vocabulary.  We have intermediate and advanced students that desire to perfect their knowledge of the English language in order to continue their education.

Students that participate in the literacy program at West Warwick library come from many different countries.  The following countries were represented in the spring 2008 classes:

Aruba, Bolivia, Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Myanmar, Nepal, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Korea, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Venezuela, and Vietnam
