The 2010 Library Book Discussion Season!

The afternoon adult library reading group meets on the last Wednesday of every month (*unless otherwise noted) at 2:00 p.m. The evening group meets the Tuesday before the last Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Meeting Room. We choose both fiction and non-fiction books from a number of different genres: mystery, romance, adventure, biography, history, science fiction to name a few.
Here are the books we are reading this year, 2010.

January 26 & 27, 2010 -Standing in the Rainbow by Fannie Flagg

February 23 & 24, 2010 - Patchwork Planet by Anne Tyler

March 30 & 31, 2010 - Widow of the South by Robert Hicks

April 27 & 28, 2010 - The Guersney Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer (This is the 2010 book for Reading Across Rhode Island.)The book club will NOT be meeting this month due to limited meeting space in the library. Book club members may still come in and pick up a copy of The Guersney Literary and Potato Peel Society at the Reference Desk on the second floor.
